I completed SOS a couple of years ago, before they revamped. My understanding is that they were adding more about sexual assault awareness and harrassment issues to the first unit. Remember: You CANNOT take the tests with local CAP testing officers. You have to go to base testing offices to take the exams, and there, they're administered on computers, so you get real-time scores. I highly recommend SOS for every CAP s'member.

Really, they should have to take it much earlier in their career, like before they make captain, definitely before they ever get tapped for a squadron commander gig. FWIW, I just am finishing block D now and will be done in a few weeks. There's a lot of material to cover and I wasn't real crazy how it was presented. I'm not a big fan of BlackBoard for these kinds of courses, however, YMMV 2. That being said, there is quite a bit of video and additional readings to do.

What they have added in the last month, which they didn't have for the longest, is checks on learning. This is a decent way to measure your progress. Since I am concurrently enrolled in the NWC, I didn't spend much time actually studying. If you're familiar with ANY military classwork on leadership, personnel management, and EEO/SH you should be fine. This is a great class if you're relatively new to the military and leadership. It's created for folks that are about to take command in the USAF. The only things that really tripped me up were AF-specific G8/G1 functions that are covered in the course that I seemed to have missed.

Still passed the test, though. BL: It's too easy. Good stuff in there, but it wasn't really what I expected.

It is very basic IMHO, but I've been in/around the military for years. For those SM w/ little/no experience with the military it will be an excellent primer of the USAF, strategic and operational levels of war, personnel management, leadership, and the profession of arms.

Mac users may have such feelings: their Macs slow down the longer they own it. Actually, we can apply some simple methods to reduce the system resource consumption and improve the operating efficiency of the system, such as manually disabling useless Adobe startup service items etc. If you have the same problem, you might as well have a look at the approach shared by iPhone fan zczyzi.

Find and delete the files related to “Adobe” via the following path. Most of these startup items are related to Adobe’s auto-update, according to this iPhone fan. /Library/LaunchAgents /Library/LaunchAgents /Library/LaunchDaemons /System/Library/LaunchAgents /System/Library/LaunchDaemons Enter System Preferences, close Core Sync and Core Sync Helper in “Extension”. Go to /Applications/Utilities/Adobe Creative Cloud, delete folders of CCLibrary, CCXProcess and CoreSync.

If you can’t remove it, force to exit the process of CCLibrary.app, CCXProcess.app and CoreSync.app from the “Finder – application – utility – Activity Monitor” and then execute delete. IPhone fan zczyzi says CCLibrary.app is associated with Adobe’s Library Utilities, while CCXProcess.app and CoreSync.app is Synchro Function process of Adobe Creative Cloud, these are wasting system resources as a permanent resident in background. How To Create An Encrypted Folder In macOS? Recently, EricZhan, a friend from WeiPhone shares an approach to create an encrypted folder on macOS devices. Create An Encrypted Folder In macOS? Click “select” and then click “save” to generate a DMG file. Double-clicking on the file brings up a window that your password needs to be entered.

Input password and open the DMG file, we will see a system automatic loading folder, which files that need to be encrypted can be put in. In addition, iPhone fan EricZhan also gives a way to adjust the size of the encrypted folder: Open the disk utility again, and then select “image-resize” on the menu bar. Then choose the DMG file generated earlier, you will see a resize window, input the number you want, and click “resize”.
