Sorry if this question has been asked before, i havent seen it anywhere. And sorry if this problem sounds so n00bish that you want to smack me with something. But the fact is, i'm still pretty new to dev c and i have no idea how to use irrlicht with it. In the tutorials it says to add the include directory so i do.
It also says to add the library directory but in the project options i don't see anywhere to add this. So in the object files field i just add all the files in the dev cpp library directory. But then i get this linker error: c: irrlicht examples 1.helloworld main.o(.text+0x142):main.cpp: undefined reference to `import stub for irr::createDevice(irr::video::EDriverType, irr::core::dimension2d const &, unsigned int, bool, bool, irr::IEventReceiver.)' there's no doubt in my mind that i'm doing something wrong here, but i have no idea what it is that i'm doing wrong. Can anybody help me out here?
By the way, i'm using the source from the hello world tutorial. I'm facing the same problem - failing to build the Helloworld tutorial with Dev-C - with the same linker errror. So, if you know your way with Dev-C (or linkers in general), please help!! I must precise I'm quite new to Dev-C.

I have: - placed the Irrlicht.dll (the one in the ' bin DevCpp' dir of the irrlicht-0.3.zip file) in the 'Dll' directory of Dev-C; - libIrrlicht.a ( lib DevCpp in the zip) in the 'lib' directory of Dev-C (I already had libz.a and libjpeg.a); - all the irrlicht include files in an 'irrlicht' directory, in the 'include' directory of Dev-C - and created an irrlicht.template with the directive: CppCompiler= -I' irrlicht'. And Linker=-lmingw32 -lIrrlicht -ljpeg -lz -lopengl32 What's wrong? Thanks a lot in advance!
